When I was a teenager I wanted the graphics powerhouse of that generation. And back then it was hands down SGI. Nothing even came close. It was faster, more powerful and by far more expensive than its competition. This is my Indigo2, which I purchased from the San Diego Supercomputer Center when they finally phased them out in the early 2000's. Very unique hardware.
