Home / Computers / Electronics / Apple ][e Repair 21
My Parents bought my first computer for me in 1983. It was this computer. For many years afterward people kept telling me "Why don't you throw that junk away?" It was sentimental value. There's something about toys you've had all your life, toys you played with as a child. Recently I found it and powered it up. It let out the 'magic smoke' and the display was garbled. These photos are the process of the repair of the power supply and VIDEO ROM traces. A labor of love out of a machine that gave me so much enjoyment as a child over 35 years ago.
